In the Gaffer’s pre Lincoln City Press Conference, he brings us up-to-date with the latest on injuries, Tuesday’s trialist, and his views on Danny Cowley’s Lincoln City.
On injuries, Jolley has confirmed that Harry Davis and Alex Whitmore are both available again. Danny Collins may return, but Akin Famewo has been ruled out of derby day with a hamstring problem. Harry Clifton, who limped out of last Saturday’s clash with Macclesfield, will be given a chance to prove his fitness ahead of the trip to Sincil Bank.
Speaking about Adam Curry, the trialist who featured in Tuesday’s reserves fixture against Port Vale, the gaffer added: “It was just a chance for us to look at a young player at Hull who we had spoken to them about a while ago.
“And they were happy for him to come and have a game with us. It was a chance for him to look at us and us to have a look at him.”
On The Imps, Jolley said: “It’s clear that they have got a very strong squad and are managed extremely well.
“They are not top of the league by accident; they are top of the league because they have got a terrific squad of players and they have a good side.”
