Freeview | Town Boss Frustrated After Defeat

Town boss Michael Jolley said he was frustrated after watching his side slip to a narrow defeat at Forest Green Rovers today.

He said: โ€œWeโ€™re frustrated by the result. If the gameโ€™s about how many passes you make and how much possession you have, then Forest Green deserve to win.

โ€œBut I think if the gameโ€™s about how many chances you created, I feel like we created more good chances to score than they did. Other than the goal, I canโ€™t remember too many chances that they created.

โ€œWe respect the way they play. Itโ€™s obviously a unique style and very possession-based. Itโ€™s not for me to say anything about them other than theyโ€™re a good opponent, and theyโ€™re good at what they do.

โ€œI felt that we limited them to not very many chances in the game, and we created enough chances ourselves when we could and should have scored.โ€
