Reflecting on a great cup night and seeing his side book a third-round tie at Premier League side Chelsea, James McKeown declared: “We’ll go there, you never know, it’s a strange game, we’ll give it a good go.

“Since I’ve been here I don’t think I’ve had too many good cup runs, and then we’ve had back-to-back years of them.

“It’s great for everyone involved, great for us as players to do it, unbelievable for the fans.”
