Gi Grimsby News continue as Official Media Partner!

We are pleased to confirm that Gi Grimsby News has become our Official Media Partner for a three-year period to the end of the 2025/26 season.

A leading local news platform based in Grimsby town centre, Gi Grimsby News has a large online presence in the area and have been partnered with the Club since the start of the 2022/23 season.

The online news platform endeavours to bring up to date, local news to local people and to support the community it serves through new initiatives led by their local team and local people.

On the partnership, Gi Grimsby News Managing Director Matt Stinson said: “I’m immensely proud that Gi Grimsby News is the official media partner of GTFC for the second year running.

“Supporting a football club whose owners so clearly prioritize custodianship and community is more than backing a team; it’s investing in a shared vision. Beyond the team’s efforts on the pitch, it’s about fostering a sense of belonging, where every supporter becomes a vital part of a community-driven legacy, and here at Gi we believe that’s a cause worth championing.

“Together with the club, we look forward to capturing and sharing the inspiring moments that unfold both on and off the pitch.”

Debbie Cook, the Mariners’ CEO, said: “We’re really pleased to confirm Gi Grimsby News as our Official Media Partner. After working with them throughout the 2022/23 season, it’s clear that Matt and his team share our passion for the community we serve and are really keen to shine a positive light on it.

“The fact they are avid supporters of the Mariners is an added bonus and, in our position at the heart of our community, it’s great that an organisation like Gi Grimsby News will cover the work of the Club, our Foundation and that of the Mariners Trust, as well.”

The Mariners’ Chair, Jason Stockwood, added: “I’d like to thank Matt and the entire team at Gi Grimsby News for their support and continued partnership with GTFC.

“Understanding the profound significance of our club and its connection to the town, we share a complete alignment as organisations. I am eagerly anticipating the ongoing collaboration and the positive impact it will have.”
