Grimsby Town WFC would like to wish Phil Neville and the England Lionesses every success in France, at the start of the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2019.

Our Women’s team manager, Dale Houlston said: “I’m very excited that the World Cup has come around and I am sure that the whole nation is behind the Lionesses.

“I spent time over in the Netherlands for the UEFA Women’s Euro’s 2017, and it was a truly fantastic festival of football.

“The atmosphere in the Fanzones between all of the competing nations was special, and I’m sure it will be the same for the World Cup. I’m going to be a little too busy to get over there this time around, but  I will be glued to the TV supporting England,” Dale added.
