We are pleased to announce the appointment of Graham Hackney as the Club’s new Supporter Liaison Officer (SLO).
The Supporter Liaison Officer plays a vital role in strengthening the relationship between supporters and the Club, acting as a key link between fans and club management while supporting open communication, dialogue, and a positive matchday experience for both home and away supporters.
In his role, Graham will serve as a central point of contact for supporters and fan groups, helping to ensure supporter views are heard and considered across the Club. He will also be a visible and approachable presence around Blundell Park on matchdays, offering support, guidance, and assistance to fans to help enhance comfort, enjoyment, and overall experience.
A key part of the role involves the preparation and sharing of important supporter information, including travel guidance, safety advice, and ticketing updates, often working closely with internal departments and sharing information via the Club’s communication channels. Graham will also play an active role in delivering and developing the Club’s Fan Engagement Plan, helping to foster a consultative, community-focused approach to supporter relations.
In addition, Graham will manage and promote updates to the Club’s Supporter Charter, liaise on supporter-related issues including safety and facilities, and assist in resolving concerns raised by fans, ensuring they are addressed constructively and effectively.
Supporters can contact Graham via email at slo@gtfc.co.uk, by phone on 01472 605050 (for appropriate matters), or on X via @GTFC_SLO.
The Club would like to welcome Graham to his new role and looks forward to continuing to work closely with supporters to ensure their voices remain at the heart of Grimsby Town Football Club.
