Grimsby Town FC opens new sensory room at Blundell Park

Grimsby Town Football Club is proud to announce the opening of a brand-new Sensory Room at Blundell Park, designed to provide a comfortable and inclusive environment for supporters who may need a break from the matchday atmosphere.

Located between the Pontoon and Main Stand, this dedicated space offers a quieter setting with sensory materials and accessible features to support fans with additional needs.

The room includes:

  • Sensory equipment to create a calming environment
  • A comfortable seating area with a couch and TV
  • Step amendments and a disabled access ramp for easy entry

Grimsby Town FC remains committed to improving the matchday experience for all fans and ensuring that Blundell Park is an inclusive space for everyone.

GTFC Disabled Supporters Association Spokesperson Dave Roberts said,

The Sensory Room will provide a safe and welcoming space for supporters who need a break from the matchday atmosphere while still feeling part of the action.
