Grimsby Town Football Club are deeply saddened to learn of the recent passing of former Vice Chairman, Bryan Huxford.
Bryan served as Vice Chairman from 1999 until his resignation in May 2001.
During his tenure with the club, he was actively involved in significant developments, including efforts to relocate the club to a new stadium.
Beyond his contributions to the club, Grimsby-born Huxford held directorial roles in several companies, including T.S. Fleet Limited and Imperial Motor Holdings Limited and Eastern Airways (Europe) Limited, where he served as Secretary and Director between 1998 and 2002.
Bryan was a dedicated and driven man who remained deeply committed to the Mariners long after he departed the club and his contributions will not be forgotten.
The Club will be marking Bryan’s life with a memorial at our next home match against Morecambe on the 5th April.
Our thoughts are with Bryan’s loved ones at this very difficult time.
Once a Mariner, always a Mariner.
