Grimsby Town vs. Scunthorpe United Supporter Information

Ahead of our eagerly anticipated derby vs. Scunthorpe United on Saturday 21st December, we want to ensure all supporters have an enjoyable day at Blundell Park.

With ticket availability now limited, we would advise those home fans without tickets who wish to attend the fixture purchase tickets at their earliest opportunity to avoid congestion at the Blundell Park ticket office prior to kick-off.

On the day, we would encourage supporters to arrive early and that the club will be conducting searches as part of it’s normal operations at all turnstiles.

North East Lincolnshire Council have advised that parking enforcement will be out with restrictions in place on Imperial Avenue, Constitutional Avenue and Harrington Street, where any vehicle breaching the Highway Regulations will be ticketed and potentially towed away, as this significantly affects the safety for those attending the fixture.

Due to a capacity crowd expected on the day, we would politely ask all supporters to take to their seats as early as possible, so all supporters can enjoy the derby free from obstruction. This will also allow any ticketing issues to be resolved quickly and efficiently without missing any of the game, which can be assisted by seeing your nearest steward.

Whilst we understand that there may be a number of away supporters who have not been able to purchase tickets to watch their team, any Scunthorpe United fan found within the home stands will be asked to leave without refund of their ticket.

Following the conclusion of the game, Humberside Police have requested that all supporters, with the exception of disabled or elderly in the Main Stand leave the stadium via the Pontoon and Imperial Corner. This is for safety reasons due to the high volume of coaches and other traffic on Harrington Street.

We look forward to welcoming you all to Blundell Park and hope you enjoy the game.
