Grimsby Town Women will compete in the East Midlands Regional Women’s League Premier Division during the 2026/27 season following confirmation of the club’s allocation within the Women’s Football Pyramid.
The Mariners have secured promotion after an impressive 2025/26 campaign, earning their place in the Premier Division on the basis of their league finishing position.
The move represents another significant step forward for the club’s women’s programme and will see Town compete against some of the strongest teams in the region next season.
The 2026/27 East Midlands Regional Women’s League Premier Division will comprise:
- Doncaster Rovers Belles
- Gainsborough Trinity Community
- Grimsby Town
- Lincoln Women
- Loughborough Foxes Vixens
- Mansfield Town
- Newport Pagnell Town
- Nottingham Trent University
- SJR Worksop
- Stamford
The division promises several exciting fixtures throughout the campaign, including local encounters with Lincoln Women and Gainsborough Trinity Community, as well as meetings with a number of established sides from across the East Midlands region.
