We are please to confirm that former Mariner, Gary Henshaw, will be returning on Saturday as our matchday guest against Colchester United.
Henshaw made 59 appearances for Town between 1983 and 1987, scoring nine goals, in the second tier. He established himself as a reliable penalty taker during his time as a Mariner – his first senior goal being a match winning spot kick against Birmingham keeper David Seaman in April 1985. The former midfielder moved to Bolton Wanderers and helped the Trotters to promotion in 1988 before going on to work as a commentator on Bolton games for local radio.
We will be joined by Henshaw in McMenemy’s ahead of the Colchester game for a Q&A with Scott Woodthorpe – supporters can book their place in hospitality or upgrade their ticket by clicking here.
With prices starting at just £30 per person and an exciting match in store against the U’s, secure your place in McMenemy’s today.
