We can confirm that Alex Hunt has joined York City on a permanent deal.

The central midfielder initially joined the Mariners on a six-month loan during the 20201-22 season before signing a 3-year-deal with the club in September 2022.

Across both spells, Hunt made 42 appearances for Town, scoring 3 goals, including a memorable free-kick in the 4-3 victory against Barnet in the National League.
