Getting to the Ground:

By Car:

From the North, take the A14 from Huntingdon heading east. From the South, take the M11 to Junction 14 and join the A14 eastbound.

Exit the A14 at the fourth junction east of Cambridge (signposted Stow-Cum-Quy), then follow the A1303 back towards the city. Continue past Marshall Airport and follow signs for the ground, with floodlights visible near the final roundabout.

Turn left onto the ring road, then right at the next roundabout onto Coldham’s Lane. After half a mile, turn right into Coldham’s Road just before the railway bridge.

Parking:

There is no supporter parking available at the Abbey Stadium.

Supporters are advised to use considerate street parking where permitted or the Newmarket Road Park & Ride. A return fare is £3.50, with drop-off directly outside the stadium. Post-match pick-up is from the layby opposite.

Walking from the Park & Ride is also an option (approx. 20 minutes).

Disabled Supporters:

A limited number of disabled parking spaces are available. Supporters should call 01223 566500 (option 1, between 9am–3pm) to check availability and book.

By Train:

Cambridge Railway Station is located approximately 25–30 minutes’ walk from the stadium. Taxis are available outside the station, while the C3 bus also serves the ground.

Food & Drink:

There are a number of food outlets on Newmarket Road, including McDonald’s, Frankie & Benny’s and Nando’s.

A family fanzone will also be in operation outside the Club Shop (weather dependent), though alcohol is not served in this area.

Inside the stadium, a range of food and drink options are available, including alcohol. Please note the stadium is cashless, with card and contactless payments only.

Cash Machines:

The nearest cashpoints are located at Tesco on Newmarket Road and the Spar at the junction of Newmarket Road and Barnwell Road.

Programme:

A printed matchday programme will be available priced at £4. This is a cash-only purchase.

Flags & Drums:

Flag placement will be subject to the number of supporters in attendance. Please follow instructions from stewards on arrival.

Drums are not permitted for this fixture due to the away stand operating at near capacity.

Recommended Pubs for Away Fans:

There are limited options close to the stadium for away supporters.

The Kingston Arms (CB1 2NU), located around five minutes from Cambridge Railway Station, will be welcoming Town fans. The pub is run by a Mariners supporter, Mark Donachy (aka Histon Mariner) and will be donating to disabled supporters for every pint sold.

There are also a number of options available in Cambridge city centre, though this is some distance from the ground.

Mariners Respects:

We’re proud of the outstanding support Grimsby Town receives both home and away, and we want everyone attending to enjoy the match in a welcoming environment.

Abusive, indecent, or discriminatory behaviour – including racist, homophobic, sexist, sectarian, xenophobic, or anti-disability language or actions – will not be tolerated. The Club may issue bans, including indefinite bans, to anyone engaging in such behaviour.

We look forward to seeing the Mariners backed loudly and proudly at the Abbey Stadium. Safe travels to all supporters making the journey.
