Information for fans travelling to Croud Meadow tomorrow

Supporters travelling to Shrewsbury Town for tomorrow evening’s Sky Bet League Two fixture should be aware of the following important information…

A reminder that we kick off at 7:45pm, with turnstiles opening at 6:30pm. The Mariners will be wearing our third/cream kit for this fixture.

Getting to the Croud Meadow

Supporters are encouraged to plan their journey in advance and arrive as early as possible.

By Car

The stadium postcode is SY2 6ST.

From the M54, continue onto the A5 for seven miles. At the junction with the A49, bear left to stay on the A5.
At the next roundabout, take the third exit onto B4380, continue onto Thieves Lane, then head straight over two roundabouts onto Oteley Road – the ground will be on your left.

Parking

Meole Brace Park & Walk (SY3 9NB) – £5 per car, cash only. A 10-15 minute walk from the ground (first-come, first-served).

Additional spaces may be available at The Wild Pig and Charles Darwin pubs.

Disabled Parking: Limited paid disabled bays are available at the stadium. Blue Badge holders must pre-book via 01743 273943 or tickets@shrewsburytown.co.uk.

By Train

Shrewsbury Railway Station is approximately two miles from the stadium. Supporters arriving by rail are advised to take a taxi directly from the station taxi rank.

At the Stadium

Visiting Stand

Town supporters will be located in the SY Communications North Stand, an all-seated, covered stand behind the goal.

Tickets

Tickets can be purchased on the evening from the away ticket office, located outside the North Stand. Please note that this will be cash only. This will be open ahead of turnstile opening times.

We have received an initial allocation of 606 seating tickets for this fixture, and have currently sold around 266. Prices are as follows:

  • A nearby retail park offers McDonald’s, Costa, and Starbucks.

  • Larger flags require advance approval.
  • Flags may be draped across seats where space allows.
