We can confirm that Jackson Smith’s emergency loan has been extended for a further 7-days.

The Barnsley goalkeeper made his Mariners debut a week ago in the 1-0 win at Gillingham and played against Doncaster Rovers at the weekend.

Smith is eligible for tonight’s Bristol Street Motors Trophy fixture against Lincoln City at Blundell Park.
