We are looking forward to welcoming back club legend John McDermott as our special guest in McMenemy’s, as the Mariners face Cambridge United at home this Saturday!

Macca is the longest-serving player in our history, making 754 appearances over a 20-year Mariners career, including playing a key role in the memorable 1997-98 Wembley double winning season, where Town won promotion to Division One as well as the Auto Windscreen Shield.

During his time with the Mariners, McDermott won our Player of the Year award a record three times, earned promotion with the Mariners on three separate occasions, writing himself into Grimsby Town folklore.

Macca will be in McMenemy’s ahead of Saturday’s match against the U’s where he will take part in a Q&A about his two-decade spell with the Club.
