Grimsby Town FC is absolutely delighted that Kristine Green has been awarded the BEM for services to Association Football in North East Lincolnshire.
Kristine is the Chair of the Mariners Trust, one of the Club’s Supporter Liaison Officers and, for the last 12 months, she’s been a member of the Grimsby Town FC board.
Kristine absolutely lives and breathes fan engagement, and she’s been a driving force behind countless initiatives over the years which has helped to develop the Club’s relationship with our fans.
She was a vocal critic of the way our female supporters were victimised by stewards at Stevenage in 2017, and, more recently, Kristine was behind the Mariners Trust’s decision to purchase five new defibrillators for Blundell Park and also the Reminiscence Hub in Freshney Place.
The Club would like to publicly state their gratitude to Kristine for everything she’s done, and continues to do, for the supporters of Grimsby Town and express our delight that all her hard work has been recognised.
Kristine Green, we are proud to say you are One of Our Own.
