Our award-winning matchday programme ‘The Mariner’ makes its return to Blundell Park this weekend for the visit of Maidenhead United to Blundell Park for our penultimate home game of the season.
In the spotlight this afternoon is on-loan defender Andy Smith, who has struck up a strong relationship at the heart of the Mariners defence with Luke Waterfall. Smith tells us about his first professional goal from last weekend, his progression through the Tigers’ ranks and his ambitions for the remainder of the season.
Our regular feature, Grimbarians returns with our own Mike Phillips, Blundell Park’s groundsman since 1980 where he joined as a 16-year-old on a YTS scheme. Our Legends feature returns this weekend with Tony Butcher of Cod Almighty talking about Paul Groves, explaining why he thinks ‘Mr Reliable’ will always be a true Grimsby great. We also have a fantastic two-page spread on the Legends of 71-72, with a profile of each of the squad members who were part of the historic group.
This plus much, much more is available in and around the ground Saturday afternoon for just £3. Something for all ages to keep you occupied up until kick-off, so be sure to pick up your copy! You can also purchase your copy online via our new online shop.
Tickets for this afternoon remain available to purchase directly from the ticket office, calling 01472 605050 or by visiting our online ticket portal.
