Grimsby Town Football Club are delighted to announce that a three-year deal has been agreed with Italian manufacturers Macron to become the Mariners’ official Technical Kit Sponsor and Supplier.
The Mariners will be joining the likes of European giants Lazio, Sporting Lisbon and Udinese whilst joining an ever-growing English roster of clubs to wear the Macron Hero which include Stoke City, Blackburn Rovers, Nottingham Forest, Reading and Bolton Wanderers.
Country Manager of Macron Andrea Palilla said: “We are delighted to welcome our new partner Grimsby Town to the always increasing Macron family.
“Our Product Development Manager has been working closely with the Club’s senior management team over the last few months to ensure we deliver the best possible kit and training wear product for both the supporters and players for the new season.
“We feel privileged to be playing our part in the new chapter in the history for the Mariners and we can’t wait to see the squad back in the shirt once the new season is underway”.
Commercial Manager David Smith said: “It’s fantastic to be able to finally confirm Macron as our new Technical Kit Sponsor and we are thrilled to be able to join the Macron family and their fantastic roster of clubs for the next three years.
“We have worked closely with Andrea and his team in recent months to ensure we can provide our supporters and players a fresh, retro feel to our 2021/22 home kit as well as some eye-catching designs for our away and third kits for the coming season.
“We are hoping to be able to showcase our fantastic new range in the coming weeks and we cannot wait to hear your feedback and see Blundell Park filled with our fantastic fans wearing those famous black and white stripes again”.
The new deal with Macron will officially commence on 1st July 2021 and will run until the end of the 2023/24 season.
