Mariners Back Her Game Too Campaign

Grimsby Town Football Club is pleased to be supporting the ‘Her Game Too’ campaign at our game against Wrexham tomorrow at Blundell Park.

Her Game Too is a voluntary campaign led by a team of dedicated fans with the aim of fostering an ethos in football in which women are welcomed and respected equally.

Director and Co-Founder of Her Game Too, Eve Ralph said, “We are delighted to be working closely with Grimsby Town for their fixture and look forward to seeing the positive impact it has on the fanbase and beyond.

“The aim of these matchdays is to get the conversation going about why Her Game Too is needed, allow women to share their stories and experiences, and ultimately create a positive environment in which girls and women feel included at the club.

“There will be lots of Her Game Too visibility throughout the day tomorrow, so please feel free to take photos and share them with us on social media!”

As a Club, we are proud of our long-established female fan-base, our new girls Emerging Talent Centre and we are one of just a handful of clubs to have appointed a female CEO.

To raise awareness of the campaign tomorrow, the Mariners will warm-up in promotional T-shirts, members of our women’s team will be at the game interacting with supporters and there will also be plenty of opportunities for younger fans to have their photo taken with the Her Game Too Selfie board.

We are committed to Blundell Park being a place with all Mariners belong.
