Grimsby Town Football Club can confirm that an agreement has been reached with Sheffield United for the transfer of Joe Starbuck to join their Under 23’s squad.

The nineteen-year-old progressed through the Academy system at Blundell Park, penning his first professional contract with the Mariners in 2020, after making the decision to stay on to complete his A-Levels.

Joe made his debut for the Mariners in the Football League Trophy in September 2019, before going on to make a total of nine appearances in all competitions during his period for the club.
