We’re delighted to announce that Grimsby Town have been named as a finalist in the Best Football Club – Football League category at this year’s Football Content Awards.
The Mariners are among 18 clubs recognised in the category, with our digital and content output receiving recognition alongside clubs from across the EFL and beyond.
The Football Content Awards celebrate the best in online football media, recognising clubs, creators and organisations producing engaging and innovative content for supporters.
For the Mariners, the nomination reflects the continued work taking place across our digital channels to bring supporters closer to the club. From Mariners TV and matchday coverage to interviews, behind-the-scenes access, features, archive content and our coverage of the first team, academy, women’s team and Grimsby Town Foundation, our aim is to tell the stories of the people and teams that make up our football club.
The finalists were selected following around 29,000 nominations across 24 categories, with the final result decided equally by a judging panel and a public fan vote.
Now it’s over to you
The judges make up 50% of the final result, with the remaining 50% decided by supporters through the fan vote.
That means Mariners fans can now play their part in helping Town take home the award.
Voting is open now and closes at 11:59pm on Saturday 3rd October 2026.
The Football Content Awards 2026 will take place at Anfield on Thursday 19th November, bringing together the football content industry for an evening celebrating the best online content from across the game.
