Mariners Supporting Level Playing Field’s Weeks of Action

Grimsby Town Football Club is proudly supporting Level Playing Field’s Weeks of Action campaign this evening against Solihull Moors.

Level Playing Field is a charity dedicated to improving access for disabled sports fans and the wider community.

Level Playing Field’s Weeks of Action campaign highlights the positive work being done by Clubs, Disabled Supporters Club and organisations towards access and inclusion at sports venues. The main aim is to drive an improved matchday experience to encourage more disabled fans to watch the ‘beautiful game’.

In our continued support of Level Playing Field, we are promoting the campaign across our website, social media channels, and big screen around Blundell Park.

Equality and inclusion is at the heart of everything we do as a Club.

Grimsby Town Football Club works closely with The Mariners Trust, which represents and promotes the views of our disabled fans to enhance their matchday experience.

Grimsby Town Football Club have recently launched a Sensory Bag that offers a comfortable and calming environment for supporters on the autistic spectrum or with sensory impairment conditions to watch matches.

Through the Grimsby Town Sports and Education Trust, the Club runs a number of projects aimed at promoting inclusion and equality for all, including sport and employability programmes for people with a range of disabilities.

Furthermore, the Club is committed to developing more inclusive experiences across Blundell Park.
