Mariners to host Open Training Session at Blundell Park

Town supporters will have the chance to get closer to the team ahead of the new season, with the Club hosting a free Open Training Session at Blundell Park on Monday 3rd August.

The event will give Mariners fans the opportunity to watch the men’s first-team squad prepare for the upcoming campaign, with supporters invited to watch training before meeting the players afterwards for photographs and autographs.

The schedule for the morning is as follows:

10:00am – Supporters arrive at Blundell Park
10:30am – 12:00pm – Open training session
12:00pm – 12:30pm – Meet the players for photos and autographs

Entry to the event is completely free, with supporters encouraged to attend and get behind the team as preparations continue for the season ahead. Supporters will be able to enter the stadium via the Imperial Avenue gates.

There will also be plenty to keep younger Mariners entertained throughout the morning, with the Grimsby Town Foundation hosting its popular inflatable football dartboard, giving supporters the chance to get involved off the pitch.

The Club will also be using the event to support the work of the Foundation, with supporters encouraged to make a donation on the day to help continue the Foundation’s work within the local community.

From coaching sessions and football participation to community projects and support initiatives, the Foundation plays a vital role in using the power of football to make a positive difference across Grimsby and beyond.

The Open Training Session provides another opportunity for supporters to connect with the players, experience the atmosphere at Blundell Park and be part of the journey ahead of the new campaign.

We look forward to welcoming Mariners supporters to Blundell Park on Monday 3rd August.
