Welcome back to Blundell Park as we prepare to welcome Fleetwood Town for another Sky Bet League Two fixture at the home of the Mariners.
David Artell’s side have made a positive start to the new league campaign, opening with a 1-0 victory over Exeter City at Blundell Park before earning a point away at Walsall last weekend. Town have also kept clean sheets in both of their opening league fixtures, providing a solid foundation as we look to build on that start.
With another big crowd expected at Blundell Park and plenty to look forward to around the ground, we’ve pulled together all the key information you’ll need ahead of kick-off, including stadium access, turnstile opening times, ticket details, food and drink outlets, entertainment, travel and parking, and everything else supporters need to know before arriving.

There are still a number of refreshment options available around Blundell Park, with food vendors located around the ground. The Lower Bar will open from 12pm, while the bars inside the stadium will open from 1:30pm.
Ticket News
7,010 home tickets have been sold for this fixture, with seats around the ground now limited but still available. You can purchase online or from the Ticket Office, which will be open until kick-off.
We’d like to remind fans to enter Blundell Park by the entrance stated on their ticket to avoid any delays.
Clive Mendonca & John Oster in McMenemy’s
Two of the Mariners’ most recognisable former players will be back at Blundell Park, with Clive Mendonca and John Oster set to join us as Guests of Honour in McMenemy’s, with both players returning to their former home for the first time in this capacity.
Mendonca remains one of the most popular players of the modern era, having scored 60 goals in 166 appearances for the Mariners between 1992 and 1997. Renowned for his pace, movement and clinical finishing, ‘Super Clive’ played a key role during one of the most memorable periods in the Club’s history before earning a move to Charlton Athletic.
He would go on to enjoy further success at The Valley, famously scoring a hat-trick in the 1998 Division One Play-Off Final against Sunderland before converting his penalty in the subsequent shootout as Charlton secured promotion to the Premier League.
Oster, meanwhile, came through the Mariners’ youth system and established himself as one of the most exciting young talents at Blundell Park during the 1996/97 campaign. His performances earned him a £1.5 million move to Everton in 1997, breaking the Club’s record transfer fee at the time.
The midfielder went on to enjoy a lengthy career across the top two divisions of English football, representing the likes of Sunderland, Leeds United, Burnley, Reading, Crystal Palace and Doncaster Rovers, while also earning 13 caps for Wales.
Now, both will return to Blundell Park as part of what promises to be a memorable afternoon in McMenemy’s.

Food Bank Collection
We’re calling on the whole Mariners family to come together and support local organisations We Are One and The Rock Foundation through a special matchday food bank initiative. Supporters are encouraged to bring food or essential items with them to the game, with a dedicated collection kiosk located in the car park at the Ramsdens Family Stand. Cash and card donations will also be accepted around the ground, with every contribution helping support people across our local community at a time when demand for food banks remains high.
Mighty Mariner
Mighty Mariner will be around the ground with his selfie frame from 1:30pm onward and will be available for photos with supporters.
Mighty Mariners Half-Time Penalty Shootout
During half time tomorrow afternoon, we’re giving two young Mariners the chance to step onto the Blundell Park pitch for a fun-filled penalty shootout challenge – with The Mighty Mariner in goal!
If your child would like to be one of the two lucky participants, The Mighty Mariner and his chaperone will be around the ground from 1:30pm, on the hunt for two willing volunteers.
Please note, the maximum age for volunteers is 14 years old, and the two children will be selected on a first come, first served basis.
Half Time Bonanza
The Half Time Bonanza is Grimsby Town’s instant cash prize draw where supporters can win up to £750!
Tickets cost just £1 each and are sold all around the ground on a matchday. The draw takes place on the pitch at half-time, and the winning numbers will be announced by the stadium announcer.

By Car
Follow signs for Grimsby via the M180, continuing as it becomes the A180. Blundell Park is located adjacent to the McDonald’s Drive-Thru on Grimsby Road.
Supporter and team coaches should turn off Grimsby Road onto Tiverton Street and will be parked along Harrington Street.
By Train
The nearest station is Cleethorpes, approximately a 20-minute walk. Upon exiting, turn right and follow the High Street until reaching Blundell Park on your right.
By Bus
Stagecoach services stop directly outside Blundell Park. Matchday services include route 3.

Parking near the stadium is extremely limited. Supporters are encouraged to arrive early and use street parking where available, noting that some surrounding areas operate matchday restrictions.
