Match Information | Shrewsbury Town

Shrewsbury Town are the visitors to Blundell Park tonight for Round One of the Carabao Cup.

The Mariners will be looking to build on their recent performances against Crawley and Harrogate and earn a place in Round Two in September.

Listen to Head Coach David Artell’s thoughts ahead of tonight’s game against the Shrews.

Tickets are still available and can be purchased online clicking here or by visiting the Ticket Office up until kick-off.

This evening they cost £20 for adults, £10 for concessions (66+ and 18-22) and accompanied U18s are free with a paying adult.

Please note that unaccompanied 14-17 year-olds are £5. Juniors under 14 must be accompanied by an adult.

Turnstiles will open at 6:30pm ahead of the 7:45pm kick-off. The Fan Zone will be open for supporters from 6pm, with the Chicken Man and Docks Beers providing refreshments. The Lower Bar, at the bottom of the Ramsden’s Home Interiors Stand, will also open from 6pm.

There will be food options all over the ground this evening:

The Dogs – Main Stand

Cooky Cooks – Lower Ramsden’s Home Interior

Sharky’s – Upper Ramsden’s Home Interior

Sharky’s – Osmond Stand (covered corner)

The Mariner will be on sale around the ground priced at just £2 tonight. Inside you will find exclusive notes from David Artell, information on our women’s team and youth team, and a page dedicated to our younger supporters.

The Club Shop will be open as usual before the game and immediately after for any supporters hoping to get their hands on some Mariners merch or souvenirs. Please note that we are already starting to sell out of several sizes in the away and third shirt. However, we have placed a top up order and expect those to be with us before the end of September.

Mighty Mariner will be around the ground from 7pm onwards and will be available for photos with supporters. If tonight is someone’s first game, just contact [email protected] and we’ll provide you with a complimentary certificate.

We’d also like to remind fans to enter Blundell Park by the entrance stated on their ticket to avoid any delays.

Please note that Carabao Cup fixtures are not eligible to be live streamed and match passes won’t be able on Mariners TV tonight.
