Match Information | Tranmere Rovers (H)

We return to Blundell Park tonight for our final home fixture of the month in Sky Bet League Two, as we welcome Tranmere Rovers to Cleethorpes.

The Mariners head into the game looking to build on last weekend’s positive display, having earned a hard-fought point away at fellow promotion contenders Swindon Town. Tonight’s visitors currently sit 16th in the table, six points behind David Artell’s side, and will be aiming to close that gap as we approach the busy winter period.

This fixture has been selected for live broadcast on Sky Sports Football, and will be available to watch domestically.

Hear from our Head Coach ahead of the game by watching the full pre-match press conference below:

Opening Times

10am: Ticket Office & Club Shop opens
6pm: The Fan Zone and Lower Bar open to supporters
6:30pm: Turnstiles open
8pm: Kick Off

Minute’s Applause For John Newman

The Mariners will hold a minute’s applause just prior to kick off this evening in memory of former Manager, John Newman, who passed away earlier this week aged 91.

Players and staff from the Mariners will also wear black armbands for this fixture in his honour.

We would like to thank supporters in advance for helping us pay tribute to John, and ask that you allow extra time to get to your seats ahead of the applause.

Mighty Mariner’s Half-Time Penalty Shootout

During half time this evening, we’re giving two young Mariners the chance to step onto the Blundell Park pitch for a fun-filled penalty shootout challenge – with The Mighty Mariner in goal!

If your child would like to be one of the two lucky participants, The Mighty Mariner and his chaperone will be around the ground from 7:15pm, on the hunt for two willing volunteers.

Please note, the maximum age for volunteers is 14-years-old, and the two children will be selected on a first come, first served basis.
