The Mariners welcome Tranmere Rovers to Blundell Park tomorrow (kick off, 3pm) in Sky Bet League Two.
Despite overcoming League One opposition twice to reach the third round of the Emirates FA Cup, Paul Hurst’s men are still chasing their first win in the league since October. While our visitors, who sit two places above the Mariners in the table, also haven’t won since October.
We have created this preview to bring you all the key information you need to know, heading into tomorrow’s game.
Michee Efete may be back in contention despite the injury he received at AFC Wimbledon last weekend. The right back returned to training on Thursday and could feature.
Town will be without Bim Pepple and Lewis Richardson who both picked up knocks last weekend.

The GTSET and the Mariners Trust Christmas Food & Toy Appeal is still open for donations of toys and food. Supporters will be able to drop off their donations at the club offices or at the drop-off stations on each of the turnstiles and in the Fan Zone.
Working in partnership with North East Lincolnshire Health and Care Partnership, we are hosting a walk-in Covid-19 booster and Flu vaccine clinic from 12 noon until 3pm. No appointment is required, all you need to do is turn up and get your protection. The drop-in will take place in an office that’s accessible via the main Car Park. Just look out for the NHS sign.

All Mariners TV subscribers will be able to access BBC Radio’s commentary as usual from 2pm.
Highlights of the game will be available on YouTube on Sunday morning, while extended highlights will be on Mariners TV in the afternoon.
Tomorrow will be the 68th meeting between the two clubs, with Town winning 29 of those encounters, Tranmere 21 and 17 games ended in a draw.
Town last beat Rovers in 2018, when Harry Clifton, Wes Thomas, Harry Davis, Mitch Rose and Elliot Embleton all got on the scoresheet in a 5-2 victory.
The last game was a 0-0 draw at Blundell Park towards the end of the 2020-21 League Two season.
Tranmere will be in their all-teal away kit and we, of course, will be in our famous black and white stripes.
Sebastian Stockbridge will be the man in the middle – he was in charge of our Carabao Cup game against Nottingham Forest at the beginning of the season.
He will be accompanied by assistants Stephen Wade, Alex Gray and the Four Official Wayne Grunnill.
