Matchday Information | Cambridge United

Cambridge United are the visitors to Blundell Park tomorrow in Sky Bet League Two.

The Mariners come into the clash fresh from victory away at MK Dons last weekend and just a point off the top of the table!

Listen to what our Head Coach said about tomorrow’s game in yesterday’s press conference:

Tickets can still be purchased by clicking here or by visiting the Ticket Office from 9am tomorrow up until kick-off

We do have good availability in the Osmond Stand where 1878 Club members can unlock exclusive prices of £20 for adults and £5 for concessions. There is limited availability in the Ramsden’s Home Interiors Stand, Technical Absorbents Stand and Pontoon.

Retro Shirts

We are calling on supporters to dig out their favourite retro shirts for tomorrow’s game.

In partnership with the Mariners Trust, tomorrow is our retro shirts matchday to celebrate the clubs near 147-year history and the various memorable shirts that have donned the Mighty Mariners over the years.

Supporters who wear a retro shirt will be in with a chance of winning Club Shop vouchers. Our very own Mighty Mariner will be going around the ground from 2pm and selecting the Mariners shirts that catch his eye.

Supporters can also join in the debate by sharing photos of your Mariners shirt collections or retro shirt selfies using the hashtag #gtfcretroshirts.

Know Your Numbers Week

In support of North East Lincolnshire council’s public health initiative, Know Your Numbers Week, supporters will have the opportunity to have their blood pressure checked ahead of the game.

The checks, which only take a couple of minutes and involve putting on an inflatable armband, will take place in a dedicated room at the bottom of the Ramsden’s Home Interiors Stand, that’s accessible from the car park between 12 and 2:30pm.

The Fan Zone will be open for supporters from 12pm, with the Chicken Man and Docks Beers providing refreshments. The Lower Bar will also open from 12pm, with other bars around the ground opening from 1:30pm when the turnstiles open.

Tomorrow’s food caterers around the ground are:

Lower Ramsden’s Home Interiors – Food Dudes

Upper Ramsden’s Home Interiors – Sharky’s

Pontoon – The Dogs

Technical Absorbents Stand – Cooky Cooks

Osmond Stand – Hatricks

Away End – Dave at the No1

The Mariner will be available to purchase around the ground for £3. Inside you will find an exclusive interview with Charles Vernam, a look at our opponents and so much more.

The Club Shop will be open from 9am until kick-off for supporters to get their hands on some Mariners merch or souvenirs.

Mighty Mariner will be around the ground from 2pm onwards and will be available for photos with supporters. If tomorrow is someone’s first game, just contact fran@gtfc.co.uk and we’ll provide you with a complimentary certificate.

We’d like to remind fans to enter Blundell Park by the entrance stated on their ticket to avoid any delays.

Match passes are available to overseas fans on Mariners TV by clicking here.
