OASIS PARTNERSHIP EXTENDED TO WOMEN’S FIRST TEAM

We are delighted to be enhancing our partnership with Oasis Health Club, with the partnership extending to include our Women’s First Team.

The men’s first team currently benefit from using the health club’s facilities and this will now be extended to include the women’s first team. Greg Howard, GTFC’s Lead Physical Performance Coach will be providing both men’s and women’s players with programmes to assist with the strength, conditioning, recovery and any rehabilitation throughout the season.

Extending the service to the women’s team has helped with the recruitment and retention of players this summer and we’re hoping it will give them competitive advantage on the pitch too.

On the partnerhsip extending, club CEO Polly Bancroft said, “The women’s team are an integral part of the Club with many other enhancements taking place during this summer. Matches at Blundell Park, there are new training and playing facilities, paid staff, and transport to away matches. We’ll continue to improve support for the team and look forward to their continued development.

“Having partners join us on this journey will be a huge help so we’re grateful to Oasis Health Club for their contribution. We hope Oasis Health Club’s support for the women’s team paves the way for others.”

Oasis Health Club added, “We are excited to extend our support with GTFC by including the women’s team in our partnership. We have had a fantastic relationship for many years now and this further strengthens our bond with GTFC and the local community.

The women’s fixtures are on the club website and can be found by clicking here, and we encourage fans to support them throughout the season as we look to climb through the leagues.

Organisations looking to back the women on their journey can contact [email protected]. Player sponsorships start from £150 per season.
