Club Statement: Jason Stockwood

Grimsby Town Football Club’s Vice-Chair, Jason Stockwood, has today won the nomination to be the Labour Party’s candidate for the new role of Greater Lincolnshire Mayor.

As a result of the nomination, Jason will step back from the board of Grimsby Town FC until the outcome of the May 2025 election.

We can confirm that Jason’s investment in Grimsby Town Football Club will remain unchanged and Chair, Andrew Pettit, will now manage 1878 Partners Ltd investment in the meantime.
