The Grimsby Town Football Club, in partnership with the Grimsby Town Sport & Education Trust and Mariners Trust has been confirmed for Sunday 29th July.

From 11am to 3pm, the annual GTFC open day will take place at Blundell Park, with a number of fantastic events and activities set to take place. From a live choir to a climbing wall, information stalls to football ‘darts’, there will be something for all ages to enjoy throughout the day!

The Mariners Trust bar located in the Young’s Lower will be open throughout the day for refreshments and hot & cold food such as hot dogs and ice cream.

We are also very pleased to welcome a number of great organisations such as ‘Friendship at Home’ and Macmillan Cancer Support. These will be located throughout the ground for those wishing to support their causes or find out more about the fantastic work they do.

The open day also gives supporters the perfect opportunity to meet their heroes, with the players taking part in an open training session in front of the fans on the day. The players are scheduled to begin training at 12:15pm until 1:00pm. Following the conclusion of their training session, the players will return to the pitch and stands for autographs and photographs.

Please note that the pitch will remain out of bounds throughout the day, in order for it to remain in as good condition as possible ahead of the start of the 18/19 season. We would also like to inform supporters that the main car park in front of the Young’s stand will be closed.

Ahead of the opening game of the season vs. Forest Green Rovers, we will be offering a family ticket (2 adults and 2 juniors) for the discounted price of £30. Those wishing to take advantage of this offer can do so on Sunday ONLY, with the ticket office open from 11am.

We encourage all supporters to show their colours and wear their GTFC shirts, with a photo alongside the first team and management set to take place prior to the conclusion of the day. All supporters who are wearing an official GTFC shirt will be entered into a free prize draw to win a family season ticket (2 adults & 2 juniors) in the Main Stand only. Not yet got your new 18/19 GTFC shirts? The club shop will also be open from 11am.
