Would you like to own a piece of Grimsby Town history from the Main Stand?
We have a piece of 123-year-old timber from one of the original pillars available on our Silent Auction page.
The 20cm-long section comes from one of the pillars which had to be removed during this summer’s extensive renovation to make way for four new steel ones. The pillars had been in place since 1901 when the Main Stand was first constructed!
The timber comes mounted on a Perspex plinth and with a brass plaque detailing where in the Main Stand it used to be situated, along with a certificate of authenticity.
This is the first of a few limited-edition sections of timber from the removed pillars that we’ll be making available to supporters over the coming weeks, including a special few signed by Grimsby Town legends!
