Suffolk based official Chris Pollard will take charge of Saturday’s Sky Bet League Two clash between Town and Carlisle United at Blundell Park.

The 36-year-old was officiating on both the National League and the Premier League two competitions in 2018/19 but was promoted to the EFL list of referees during the summer of 2019.

It was Mr Pollard who had to call last season’s fixture against Cheltenham off because of a waterlogged Blundell Park.

In his opening six games this season he has shown 23 Yellow Cards and 1 Red Card.

He will be assisted by Simon Clayton and Stephen Wade, the Fourth Official will be Conor Brown.
