Referee Watch | Chesterfield

Lancashire official Michael Salisbury will be the man with the whistle at Chesterfield on Sunday.

The referee interestingly follows in the footsteps of his father Graham, who still officiates at EFL level himself and was in charge of Town’s recent Sky Bet League Two clash with Colchester.

This will be Michael’s third season as a Football League official after being promoted in 2016.

This will be his second FA Cup tie this season, the first being the first round TV game between Haringey Borough and AFC Wimbledon.

In 19 games this season, Michael has shown 52 Yellow Cards and 3 Red Cards.

Mr Salisbury will be assisted by Grant Taylor and Anthony Moore. The Fourth Official will be Aaron Bannister.
