Saturday’s man with the whistle will be Scott Oldham.

The Lancashire official, who is a self-employed joiner, was promoted to the EFL in 2017 after just one season in the National League.

This will be Mr Oldham’s third game in charge of the Mariners this season, the other fixtures were our 2-1 home win against Swindon in November, and the defeat against Cambridge at Blundell Park last month.

Until recently he hadn’t shown any red cards this season but has produced the yellow card 93 times in 30 games.

He will be assisted by Peter Gooch and Geoffrey Liddle, and the Fourth Official will be David Avent.
