We are delighted to confirm that Harvey Rodgers has been named in the Sky Bet League Two Team of the Season at the 2025/26 EFL Awards.

The defender has enjoyed an outstanding campaign for the Mariners, playing a pivotal role in Town’s push at the top end of the table with a series of consistently high-level performances.

Rodgers has been ever-present in the league this season, starting all 43 matches and accumulating an impressive 3,771 minutes, underlining both his durability and importance to the side.

Having played this season at right back, the 29-year-old has combined defensive solidity with attacking contribution, registering three goals and two assists across the campaign, adding a valuable threat in the final third alongside his defensive work.

His all-round impact is reflected in the numbers, with Rodgers contributing 311 defensive actions, 227 clearances and 110 recoveries, while also winning 73.2% of his aerial duels and 68.6% of his overall duels.

In possession, he has been just as influential, creating 31 chances and eight big chances for his teammates, alongside 886 successful passes over the course of the season.

Rodgers has also been a key part of a defensive unit that has recorded 16 clean sheets, highlighting his consistency and leadership at the back.

Recognition in the Team of the Season is a testament to the defender’s outstanding individual campaign and his importance within David Artell’s side.
