Neil Woods’s Grimsby Town youth team return to EFL North East Youth Alliance action as they travel to Rotherham United on Saturday (11am).
The young Mariners are currently on a four-game unbeaten run in the league, following wins over Notts County, Huddersfield Town, and Chesterfield, and a draw with Lincoln City.
Town’s impressive run in recent weeks means they have the joint-best league form over the past five matches – alongside Lincoln, who have also picked up 10 points from the last possible 15.
Town won 3-2 away at Notts County last time out, thanks to a goal from Duncan Idehen and a Lennon Stead brace.
The Mariners are now eighth-place in the league (out of 11 teams), on 17 points after 13 matches – level on points with Rotherham, who are seventh after 11 games.

And Town will be looking to continue their good run of form, and stretch their unbeaten run to five matches, as they face the Millers this weekend.
Rotherham drew 1-1 at home to Scunthorpe United in their last league game.
The Millers have won just one of their previous six league matches – a 4-2 away victory over Bradford City at the beginning of January.
And they will be hoping to earn another three points, and climb up the league table, with a win over Town on Saturday.
After this weekend’s clash, Town welcome the Millers to Cheapside for the rearranged reverse fixture on Tuesday, February 11 (12pm).
