Grimsby Town Football Club can confirm that midfielder, Luke Spokes has joined Boston United on a short term one-month loan.

Spokes signed for the Mariners in the summer of 2020, having an extension in his contract triggered following the end of the 2020/21 season.

So far, Spokes has made twenty appearances in all competitions for Town, scoring once in the EFL away to Barrow last season in a 1-0 victory.

Spokes will now be eligible for the Pilgrim’s home game vs. Guiseley in the National League North Division, with the club currently sitting mid-table in 13th position.
