We are delighted to announce that a special Clive Mendonca Speaker Evening will take place at McMenemy’s on Friday 12th June 2026, in partnership with Nor Lait.
A genuine Mariners cult hero of the 1990s, Clive remains one of the most celebrated strikers in the Club’s modern history and this promises to be a fantastic night of stories, memories and nostalgia for Town supporters.
Mendonca scored 60 goals in 166 appearances for the Mariners between 1992 and 1997, earning legendary status with his clinical finishing, pace and eye for goal before moving on to Charlton Athletic.
Widely regarded as one of Grimsby Town’s greatest modern forwards, Clive’s return to Blundell Park for this special evening is one supporters will not want to miss.
Guests can look forward to hearing stories from his playing career, memories from his time in black and white and reflections on a remarkable journey in the game.
