The Mariner Available For Saturday’s Visit Of Eastleigh

Our award-winning matchday programme ‘The Mariner’ returns tomorrow afternoon for the visit of Eastleigh to Blundell Park for our 3pm kick-off.

We also show off our latest recreation from our historic editions of The Mariner, continuing our theme throughout the 2021/22 campaign.

This evening’s edition provides us with an update from Paul Hurst, CEO Debbie Cook and Co-owner Andrew Pettit. In addition, ‘Grimbarians’ returns with an incredibly popular addition for this edition of ‘One of our Own’ featuring Anne Boyers. Many of you will have been ‘snapped’ by Anne over the years at Blundell Park and our away days. Anne began with the Mariners in 2008 as a teacher in the Study Support Centre and although this ended in 2011, her desire remained and her love for fan photography was discovered.

We also have our regular Mariners Trust update, Youth Team update as well as a junior and mini-Mariners section available to keep the young ones entertained prior to kick-off as well as much, much more!

In the spotlight is one of our own, Mr Versatile Harry Clifton. The midfielder has been a Mariner since the age of 10 and has become an integral cog in Paul Hurst’s engine in the centre of the pitch. We also put out quickfire questions from our Junior Mariners to Sean Scannell and Adam Crookes, who answer our ‘either/or and ‘matchday rituals’ questions.

The Mariner is available to purchase for just £3 in and around the ground tomorrow. All of our previous editions this season have been close to a complete sell-out so be sure to purchase yours early! In addition, you can also pre-order a copy online for collection at Blundell Park or have it delivered straight to your door! Click here to access our online store and secure your copy.
