The Mariner Available This Evening

The Mariner makes a welcome return this Friday evening for the visit of Southend United to Blundell Park for a 7:45pm kick-off under the lights!

In this evening’s edition, we sit down with Coventry City loanee Will Bapaga who has already made an impact during his first three months at the Mariners.

Our ‘One of our Own’ feature with Grimbarians returns, focussing on a supporter, member of staff or volunteer that Town fans will recognise. This week, Andy Carr features who for almost two decades played the part of beloved Town mascot, Mighty Mariner.
Our regular features return with our Junior and Mini Mariners sections see goalkeeper Max Crocombe and defender Ryan Sears answering our quickfire questions. Part eight of our Ancient Mariners feature returns with club historian Rob Briggs this week focussing on the 1883-84 season and brings us his Legends feature, with a feature on Sid Wheelhouse, the Grimsby Town captain who died at the Somme in 1916.
