The Mariner Now Available For This Afternoon

The Mariner makes a welcome return this afternoon for the visit of Chesterfield to Blundell Park for a 3pm kick-off.

In this week’s edition, we sit down with experienced centre-back, Luke Waterfall after his impressive start to the campaign. Luke speaks to us about the campaign so far, the disappointment suffered last season and the developments made within the club since the takeover in the summer.

Grimbarians’ ‘One of our Own’ feature returns, with Jim Connor featuring in this week’s edition. Mariners fans will be well known to many as an artist who has produced countless cartoons, paintings, sketches and paintings of and for the club over the years.

Our regular Junior Mariners feature also returns with plenty of information, activities and our quickfire question and answer features with both Shaun Pearson and Alex Hunt. We also catch up with Neil Woods’ Youth Team who continue their fine run of form, sitting pretty at the top of the EFL Youth Alliance North East Division after 11 games, with successive victories over Blyth Spartans and Harrogate Town respectively.

You can pick up your edition of the Mariner in and around Blundell Park this afternoon for just £3. You can also order your copy online via our online club store and pick it up from the ticket office on your way to the ground. If you’re a regular collector of The Mariner this season or interested in becoming a collector, you can subscribe to our entire 21/22 editions by clicking HERE which will also include all back issues.
