Travelling To Oldham? Read Our Essential Guide Before You Set Off

GTFC SLO: Are there any known traffic issues en route to the stadium? I.e any road closures or roadworks?

Oldham Athletic: Not that I’m aware of, however, the “Tour of Britain” are coming through Oldham this Saturday with rolling road closures between 12PM and 12:45PM on roads surrounding the route however we haven’t been advised which roads these are.

GTFC SLO: Is car parking available for Town fans? If so, please provide details (where, how much etc). If no, information on the nearest location would be appreciated.

Oldham Athletic: Car Parking is available for Away fans, this is located in the Hospital Car Park which is a short 3-minute walk from the ground. This costs £5 and is located behind the B&Q, postcode of the B&Q is OL1 2QL.

GTFC SLO: What is the process for blue badge holders?

Oldham Athletic: Blue Badge holders are able to park on Furtherwood Road as long as they display their Blue Badge and time how long they are staying for. Blue Badge holders that want to park in the Disabled Car Park spaces in our North Stand Car Park have to pay £5. This is due to the limited availability we have.

GTFC SLO: Please give details of pre-match venue for Town fans (on-site bar, away fan friendly pubs etc).

Oldham Athletic: The supporter’s bar in the North Stand (Joe Royle Stand) accepts away fans, please see attached map for your reference. The bar in the O2 Business Suite is strictly for Home fans only. There is also a pub around the corner which is away fans friendly, the address is Brewers Fayre Clayton Green, Westwood Retail Park, Chadderton Way, OL1 2PA

GTFC SLO: Where is the nearest cash machine to the Stadium?

Oldham Athletic: Nearest cash point is at the Longside Service Station which is 10 minutes away from the ground. Postcode is OL2 5AS

GTFC SLO: What is the nearest train station to the stadium and what is the approximate distance and walking time?

The nearest train station is Mills Hill which is a 30/40 minute walk to the ground. Nearest tram station is Westwood Park which is a 10-minute walk from the ground. Supporters can get the tram from Manchester Victoria to Westwood Park

GTFC SLO: What food and drink is available in the concourse at the stadium?

Oldham Athletic: Usual fizzy drinks, confectionery items, crisps etc. Steak pie, meat and potato pie and chicken balti pie… Carlsberg, John Smiths and Donkeystone all on draft. There may be other things offered as our new catering partners are bringing in different things weekly as we’ve only just started up with them

GTFC SLO: Is our drum allowed in the stadium? What is the process for supporters looking to bring flags into the stadium?

Oldham Athletic: Drums and flags are allowed, I have CC’d our Safety Officer should you wish to run it by him but it’s usually fine

GTFC SLO: What is the process for tickets on the day of the game? Can supporters pay on the turnstile or do they need to go to a Ticket Office first before going to the turnstile?

Oldham Athletic: At the moment our fixture is TICKET ONLY. So please advise your supporters to pre-purchase a ticket in order to avoid disappointment. There will be an update provided to your Ticket Office Manager regarding pay on the day on Friday at 3PM. Should pay on the day be available then fans MUST  buy a ticket through the Ticket Office on Furtherwood Road before going to the turnstile.

Cash or card payments are accepted at the Ticket Office on the day
