Géza Dávid Turi has been named in the Faroe Islands national team squad for their upcoming UEFA Nations League fixtures.
The Mariners midfielder will join up with the Faroe Islands squad during the November international window as they prepare for two fixtures.
The Faroes will travel to Slovakia on Friday 13th November before returning home to face Moldova on Monday 16th November, with both matches forming part of their UEFA Nations League campaign.
The 25-year-old will be away with the national team from Monday 9th November until Tuesday 17th November, meaning he will miss the Jersey Mike’s EFL Trophy fixture against Nottingham Forest U21s at Blundell Park, and the away league fixture at Swindon Town.
Everyone at Grimsby Town would like to congratulate Géza on his selection and wish him the very best of luck while representing the Faroe Islands.
