Grimsby Town Football Club can confirm that Charles Vernam has been recalled early from his loan at Chorley FC.

Charles joined the National League side early November on a short term loan deal, but has been recalled early by the Mariners. 

In 5 appearances for the club, Vernam scored 3 times helping them to within 2 points of climbing out of the relegation zone after 10 points in the last 4 games. 

Charles will now be eligible for selection ahead of tomorrow’s tie vs. Sky Bet League Two leaders, Swindon Town. You can buy tickets for the game by clicking here.
