Justin Whittle will be our matchday guest in McMenemy’s for our season opener against Crawley Town on Saturday.

The former Mariners’ defender made 147 appearances in black and white over a four-year spell, and featured in our League Cup victory over Tottenham Hotspur in 2005.

Whittle enjoyed a 17-year career in football before turning to coaching in 2011 once he retired.

He will be in McMenemy’s ahead of the game against Crawley, where he will take part in a Q&A about his time as a Mariner with our matchday host.

Supporters with a hospitality package for the fixture will also have a chance to meet, chat and have photos taken with the former Town defender.
