Wilkinson in McMenemy’s on Saturday

We are looking forward to welcoming back Paul Wilkinson to Blundell Park this Saturday for our game against Newport County.

The Louth-born former Mariner made close to 100 appearances for the club between 1982 and 1985, scoring 33 goals in the process, including that famous winner against Everton in the League Cup back in 1984.

Wilkinson later joined the Toffees for £250,000 and enjoyed a long, successful career playing for Nottingham Forest, Watford and Middlesborough, playing many seasons in the topflight. At the end of his playing career, he returned to Blundell Park as a coach under Lennie Lawrence and later as Russell Slade’s assistant in 2017.

The former England U21 international will be in McMenemy’s ahead of Saturday’s game alongside our matchday host Dave Smith, where he will discuss memorable moments from his long and distinguished career.

Please note that all hospitality packages have sold out for Saturday’s game against Newport County at Blundell Park.
