Sophie signed for the Mariners ahead of the 2023/24 season after previously playing for Harworth Colliery for 7 years, and before that, Cleethorpes Town.

Sophie is a centre-back who reads the game well and can lead by example and was named captain of the squad ahead of the 2025-26 season.

Some career highlights include making over 100 appearances for Harworth Colliery and winning the Sheffield and Hallamshire Division One League.
