After a week of planned (and unplanned) teasers, yesterday we revealed our home kit for the 22/23 campaign and now a limited number of shirts are available online ahead of tomorrow’s launch in the Club Shop at 9am. Click here to buy yours now.
The shirt has been made by Macron and its design makes references to the Club’s rich heritage, while also looking to an exciting future. Along with our traditional black and white stripes and subtle details, it also includes the logo of myenergi, the Club’s new shirt sponsor, in a way which is reminiscent of 90s kits which featured the iconic ‘Europe’s Food Town’ slogan.
Currently only Adult and Junior shirts are on sale, priced at £43.99 and £35.99 respectively. Like last season’s, these shirts are a slimmer fit, so it might be sensible to consider going a size higher than you normally do.
Due to all the excitement surrounding the launch of the new shirt, we have made a limited number available tonight via marinersdirect.co.uk, with the remaining shirts going on sale in the Club Shop from tomorrow morning.
We are looking forward to seeing you all proudly wearing the new shirt from this weekend, and it would be great to see lots of photos of our fans wearing the shirt on social media. Don’t forget to tag the Club in your posts and include the hashtag #mygrimsby.
Claiming Season Ticket Discount
All 22/23 Season ticket holders are eligible to receive £10 off a shirt when they use their voucher in the discount sheets. If you haven’t collected these already, they are available from the Ticket Office at Blundell Park, along with your season ticket pass.
For that reason, we are asking season ticket holders who live locally and want to buy the home shirt at the discounted rate, to do it via the Club Shop. Season ticket holders who live outside of the DN30-40 post codes have been emailed with a way of claiming their discount online.
However, it’s worth noting that the discount voucher is for £10 off any of the new 22/23 shirts, so you could wait and use that for either the away or third shirt which will be available later this month.
The Club Shop at Blundell Park will be open on Saturday and Sunday, from 9am until 2pm.
Please note that any orders made online won’t be posted until Monday next week.
